Lizzy Rollins is an artist based in Queens, NY.

I’m Lizzy.

I’m a 33-year-old human woman + visual artist living in New York.

(I also happen to enjoy writing, but I’m not very good at it, so I mostly make pictures.) I’ve been making photos since I was thirteen and haven’t stopped. Being a photographer has been my job for the past 15 years. WOW, MOM. I hang out with a lot of restaurant industry people (I married one), and they let me photograph their restaurants. So, most of what you’ll see here are images I’ve made in restaurant spaces. I think restaurants are so cool, and if you’re here, you probably do too, so YEA!

In 2024, I wrote a screenplay for a semi-autobiographical film titled Youth Group and was accepted into the top 9 finalists for South Carolina Indie Grants. The screenplay inspired a series of paintings, which I began shortly after moving to New York, in the spare room of our apartment. I guess that makes me MULTIDISCIPLINARY!!!

Most of my photography career was spent documenting weddings. I turned to commercial work in 2023 and made photos for folks such as Anheuser-Busch, Vogue, Comfort Colors, American Apparel, TikTok, Uber Eats, Google, RAYA, and some more I’m forgetting. Ultimately, I just love making images and want to do it all the time.

I like photography for all its weird quirks and surprises, and I try to embrace those qualities in my image-making process. If you like photography and you like a little weird, you’re in the right place. I’m glad you’re here!

best,

Lizzy

More about Lizzy Rollins…

She spends a lot of time in bars and restaurants.

She makes images on 35mm + 120mm film with old cameras.

RIP Bar Rollins

She likes Paris. And Paris likes her.

She moved to NEW YORK(!) in 2025.

She wrote a screenplay in 2024?

She wrote and directed that short film based on a true story, so I guess the screenplay makes sense.

And she paints?!

Now, this is getting out of hand.
