In the Studio with American Apparel

American Apparel recently released a series of branded t-shirts and we had the privilege of working with them to create imagery for the launch.

We used film + digital mediums to create a variety of image styles for the brand… We primarily shot for e-comm with Canon R5 (digital) for clarity, true color tone, and detail retention, while occasionally introducing 35mm (Nikon f100) and 120mm (Pentax 67; Lens 45mm f/4) for some texture and character that we thought would suit well for IG.

We worked at Noble Studios which offered a perfect mix of studio-meets-industrial for these looks.
